Tips for the Perfect Pet Photo
The quality of your portrait starts with the quality of your photo. Here are our top tips for getting the best results.
Do's
- Use natural lighting (near a window or outdoors)
- Get a close-up of your pet's face
- Make sure the photo is in focus and not blurry
- Capture your pet looking at the camera if possible
- Use the highest resolution your phone or camera allows
Don'ts
- Avoid dark or heavily shadowed photos
- Do not use photos where your pet is very far away
- Avoid photos with heavy filters applied
- Do not crop the photo too tightly around the face
- Avoid group photos where pets overlap each other
